Adeptia Named a Value Leader in EMA Radar for Integration Technologies for Hybrid Cloud: Q4 2012

CHICAGO, IL (PRWEB) February 21, 2013

Adeptia Inc., a leading provider of innovative cloud and on-premise business process integration solutions, today announced it has been named a “Value Leader” in the 2012 Enterprise Management Associates (EMA) Radar™ for Integration Technologies for Hybrid Cloud: Q4 2012 report, for Adeptia’s Enterprise Business Integration Management Suite (EBIMS). Adeptia was also honored with the EMA Recognition Award for “Best Integration Workflow Functionality.”

The EMA Radar Report, produced by leading industry analyst firm Enterprise Management Associations, provides an in-depth analysis of industry-leading vendors and vendor products including their overall market position in comparison to other vendors. As EMA notes, “today’s companies are increasingly “integrating the Cloud.” SaaS to SaaS, on-premise to SaaS, and multi-platform integrations are commonplace. This radar examines the technologies companies are using to accomplish integrations, as well as the scenarios, roles, and processes that are driving this evolution.”

Adeptia: Value Leader

Adeptia’s Enterprise Business Integration Management Suite was recognized by EMA as a Value Leader based on the high scoring in product strength and cost efficiency categories.

Adeptia: Best Integration Workflow Functionality

Some of the winning attributes noted by EMA for their selection of Adeptia for this category include:

  • Overall: “Adeptia’s ability to combine rich integration capabilities with a full-fledged workflow engine that supports combinations of human workflow and long running transactions, maintaining transaction state throughout. […] EBIM takes the state-of-the-art meta-driven approach to creation and deployment of process flows. The process flow that is deployed is an XML file and at run-time the execution occurs based on activity rules that are read by the process engine from the services repository.”
  • Functionality: “The fact that [Adeptia] was designed for use by business users is evident in the product and was mentioned as a differentiator in customer interviews. This ease of use is enabled by an intuitive and essentially “point and click” GUI. Adeptia has also incorporated high levels of manageability into its product, with reporting on time spent at each tier, error log entries, and hung transactions, for example.”
  • Deployment and Administration: Adeptia scored well in this area, based on fast deployment, a variety of on-premise and public Cloud-based form factors, and broad database options. They also offer a wide range of support options, and customers indicate that the customer support experience is exceptional. One of the few integration solutions that can realistically be administered by a non-expert.
  • Differentiators include: state-based processing supporting long running transactions, clustering and fault tolerance, process recovery and rollback.

“Adeptia’s unique platform can help companies stand-out in the marketplace, and deliver value to both internal and external clients,” said Deepak Singh, Adeptia President and CTO. “We have simplified the integration process, delivering a seamless, cost-effective experience for both IT and business stakeholders. Also eliminating, in many cases, the need for hiring outside professional services vendors.”
