Description Ease of Use: GeneTraffic is built to be a straightforward, intuitive software tool for biological research. GeneTraffic provides visual and computational tools to allow you to validate your data prior to analysis.
Data and Project Management: Quickly define your projects using the MIAME (Minimum Information About a Microarray Experiment) standard. Load data and image files into the database once back them up, keep them safe, together and always accessible.
Accessible:Access and share your GeneTraffic data from any PC on your Local Area Web.
Analysis: Intuitive, graphical selection of filter and normalization criteria. Perform data classification tasks, including k-means and hierarchical cluster analyses, on data youve mined using gene and spot parameters or data-specific values.
Low Investment, High Return: Weve kept the cost down by building GeneTraffic on the solid, reliable Open Source foundation: LINUX, the R statistical language, PostgreSQL, and Apache Web server. GeneTraffic software creates a LINUX Appliance out of an affordable off-the shelf workstation computer. This approach keeps the cost of the software down and support and maintenance issues low. You can focus on the biological aspects of your Microarray research and yet run an enterprise-strength client- server data management and analysis system.
