Description Gene expression profiling allows a high-throuput screening of a biological systems phenotype, so that naturally occuring or artifitially induced changes in the expression levels of the genes in that system can be detected, studied, classified and compared to each other, covering a broad range of genes at a glance. Automatized scanning of the hybridized slides in Agilent Technologies G2565 Microarray Scanner System, allows a fast generation of high definition and low background images in which features representing individual genes are automatically identified. Global hybridization quality and intensities for each fluorescent dye is assesed based on the expected quality for the control probes represented in the microarray.
