Description LC Sciences provides a unique new tool, OligoMix for low cost, high throughput DNA synthesis serving diverse needs in genomics, proteomics, synthetic biology, drug discovery, and microarray applications. OligoMix is a MIXTURE of a large number of DESIGNED synthetic DNA oligonucleotide sequences delivered in a single microtube. OligoMix is made from an innovative method of synthesis (1,2) and costs our customers 20 less per base than conventional synthesis.

OligoMix may contain any customer defined sequences (up to ~90 nts in length), OH, phosphate, or other types of 5 terminal groups, and OH or phosphate 3 terminal groups. Send us your sequences and in one-two weeks we deliver the OligoMix in pmol quantities ready for your applications such as hybridization, amplification, primer extension, and ligation.

We offer additional services for OligoMix: bioinformatics for sequence design, purification, sequence verification, preparation in duplex forms and restriction fragments, increasing product amount to nmol or more quantities, cloning and sequencing, and transcription into RNA OligoMix or individual RNA sequences. Visit our web site for more information about this product and the powerful genomic applications of OligoMix.

Economical
At less than 0.8 per base, DNA OligoMix contains thousands to millions of sequences and costs 20 less than conventional synthesis; savings is even more dramatic on long sequences.

Simple
Simply email your sequences in a text or Excel format and obtain synthesized sequences quickly. All sequences are delivered in one tube significantly increasing your experimental throughput. There is no need for robotic liquid handling or a large storage space.

Customizable
Based on conventional DMT nucleotide chemistry, our synthesis technology is very flexible and you may incorporate nucleotide modifications to suit your specific needs. Incorporation of nucleotide modifications substantially increases the number of applications of this product.

LC Sciences
LC Sciences is a genomics and proteomics company offering innovative and customizable products based on the Paraflo microfluidic technology. We offer unique products for construction of biomolecular libraries containing up to millions of different biomolecules of defined sequences. These products significantly reduce the cost and increase the speed of highly multiplexing genome-scale experiments such as exploration of small RNAs and designer gene/DNA library synthesis.

We additionally offer comprehensive microarray services for nucleic acid/protein profiling and functional analysis, biomarker-discovery, novel drug screening, and the custom development of diagnostic devices. Our microarray services offer standard and custom synthesized microarrays based on the Paraflo on-chip synthesis technology (1,2) which enables the high quality microarray synthesis and total customization of sequence content and incorporation of modifications.
