Description The DNA Engine Opticon real-time PCR detection system uses a fixed array of LEDs for fluorescence excitation (450-495 nm) and a photomultiplier tube for fluorescence detection (515-545 nm). The Opticon system is built on an DNA Engine thermal cycler base, which includes a thermal gradient feature. This item includes the thermal cycler, 96-well sample block, optical tower, analysis software with melt curve, computer, and monitor. System dimensions are 34 x 47 x 60 cm (W x D x H).
