Optimove Adds AI-Powered Product and Replenishment Recommendations to its Customer Marketing Cloud
Date:3/22/2017

NEW YORK, March 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Optimove, provider of the leading Customer Marketing Cloud used by retailers such as 1-800-Flowers and AdoreMe, today announced two new features in its platform — Product Recommendations and Replenishment. Using Optimove's machine learning algorithms, these features allow retailers to give more personalized product and replenishment recommendations to their customers based not just on past purchases, but also on predictions of customer intent drawn from a complex web of data points in their CRM system. Optimove's Customer Marketing Cloud is the only platform that intelligently integrates these types of recommendation and replenishment tools with a retailer's CRM strategy, increasing brand loyalty, engagement and revenue.

Gartner predicts that using intent-driven personalization tools like this one can increase revenues by 15 percent by 2020. Until now, retailers have relied on separate, siloed product recommendation and replenishment engines that made suggestions on limited information about the customers, and more importantly, did not share data with each other. With Optimove, not only will they have the same capabilities within a unified system, but all that data will also be connected to their CRM. This allows retailers to have a more holistic view of their customer and be able to predict their wants and needs accurately with smarter data.

"Optimove's goal is to enable marketers to communicate with their customers in an emotionally intelligent way. By applying our data science model to product recommendations and replenishments, retailers can deepen their relationship with their customers by showing they are really listening," said Pini Yakuel, CEO of Optimove. "Optimove is bringing the power of a robust CRM strategy to a B2C world; connecting content and product recommendations to our customer data models gives marketers insights they never had before."

Customers currently using Product Recommendations and Replenishment — available immediately — include Freshly, eBags and Lucky Vitamin. Optimove will also be demonstrating these features (and more) today and tomorrow at Shoptalk in Las Vegas, NV at booth #1411.
