Medbox, Inc. Announces New Product Line for 2012

HOLLYWOOD, Calif., Jan. 26, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Medbox, Inc. (Pinksheets: MDBX) (www.medboxinc.com) announced today their new lineup of products for 2012.

Through their subsidiary, Prescription Vending Machines, Inc., the company sells medicine dispensing and storage systems, which are designed to be used in hospitals, pharmacies, urgent care centers, alternative medicine clinics and doctor's offices. The systems maintain inventory control, increase accountability of employees dispensing medicine to consumers, document legal compliance, as well as create an easy method of customer retrieval of prescriptions. The patented systems use biometric fingerprint scans to identify authorized users. The systems also maintain an unalterable and permanent record that provides the utmost in transparency and compliance to local and state laws.

Safe Access Storage Lockers is a patent-pending system that provides a secure method to store, exchange, or sell tangible items. This unique system of 120 individual boxes allows the primary user to assign a code to a secondary user, who can then access the lock box after biometric verification. Thus, transactions can be completed safely, anonymously, and discretely.

The Medbox Rx is a unique system that allows pharmacists to load a customer's medicine into a secure temporary use lockbox for later retrieval. After registering, the customer can return to the pharmacy at their convenience (thus avoiding the lines) and with a swipe of their authorization card and a quick fingerprint recognition scan, a lockbox door opens and they can access their medicine.
