Medbox, Inc. Announces Approval in Colorado House Bill (HB1043)
Date:12/28/2011

HOLLYWOOD, Calif., Dec. 28, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Medbox, Inc. (Pinksheets: MDBX) (www.medboxinc.com) announced today that their Medbox™ Prescription Dispensing System has been cited by the Colorado State Legislature in HB1043.

Colorado House Bill (HB1043) clarifies certain aspects of the law and the regulations pertaining to the dispensing of alternative medicines.  The bill requires greater transparency for owners and operators of clinics, and classifies customer files as Medical Records, which are subject to the state's Medical Records Statute.

Medbox™ is the only biometrically controlled system that provides prescription medicine dispensing with automated record keeping and full transparency. The Medbox™ system will organize, track, and dispense medications, with sophisticated inventory management and customizable reports.

"Our system has been endorsed and approved by government officials, because it takes the alternative medicine clinic out of the backroom and into full compliance with all state regulations," stated Vincent Mehdizadeh, CEO and Founder of Prescription Vending Machines, Inc, a subsidiary of Medbox, Inc. "Not only does our system ensure that only authorized individuals receive the medicine, but it provides an unalterable record of transactions for taxation reporting and clarity."

Medbox™ is the world's first medical dispensing system to feature a patented biometric fingerprint recognition program, which assures patient identity and provides military grade security.
