SPARTANBURG, Caroline du Sud, 7 décembre 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Integrated Biometrics, LLC (IB) a annoncé aujourd'hui une nouvelle avancée technologique grâce à la certification par le FBI de sa nouvelle technologie d'empreintes digitales. L'équipe de développement d'IB a créé un nouveau produit en ayant recours à sa technologie brevetée Light Emitting Sensor (LES) ainsi qu'à un transistor en couches minces (TCM). La technologie LES fait appel à un film polymère chargé de pointe qui interagit avec les propriétés spécifiques de la peau humaine afin de rendre luminescentes les images des empreintes digitales. Le TCM capture alors l'image conformément aux conditions requises par la norme 500PPI du FBI. La combinaison de la technologie LES et du transistor à couches minces (TCM) permet de réduire la taille et le poids jusqu'à 95 % par rapport à d'autres produits offrant la même fonction.

IB fournit des capteurs d'empreintes digitales pour des marchés exigeant des solutions biométriques conformes à la certification Annexe F ou PIV071006. Contrairement aux autres technologies biométriques d'empreintes digitales couramment utilisées, elle est à même d'obtenir la qualité d'images optimale sans que cela se fasse au détriment de l'épaisseur et des dimensions globales de l'appareil. Cette qualité unique a permis de produire le premier capteur TCM au monde ayant obtenu la certification Annexe F Mobile ID du FBI.

Ces technologies sont utilisées pour produire les capteurs biométriques, certifiés conformément à l'Annexe F Mobile D, les plus minces, les plus petits et les plus légers au monde.
