To keep themselves up to date on the most recent advances in the field, scientists and health-care professionals will come together at the 2nd Gut Microbiota For Health World Summit, which is hosted this year by the Gut Microbiota & Health Section of the European Society of Neurogastroenterology and Motility (ESNM) a member of United European Gastroenterology (UEG) and the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA), with the support of Danone Dairy.

Among others, the following questions will be dealt with in lectures, workshops and poster sessions:

  • How is the gut microbiota involved in the development of the metabolic syndrome?
